BUSTE D’AURELIO

The Bust of Aurélio is a new edition of a sculpture dating from 2018, which itself is based on a “Voyageur” named Aurélio. He is one of Bruno Catalano’s earliest characters (2009). The bust depicts a man who is focused and serene. The expression on his face bears the marks of time. The characters chosen by the artist are, for the most part, figures whose wounds and life experiences are clearly visible.
