Bruno Catalano, an expert in his favorite material, bronze, played with its unique properties to create this Motorola. He takes this ordinary object, now gone or forgotten, to suggest the past and freeze time. The telephone is crafted with a demand for authenticity and realism, and a desire to use patina to create tension between the technological and the archaic.
