With this unfiltered Gitanes pack immortalized in bronze, Bruno Catalano continues to work on everyday objects by giving them a lighter demeanor. Cigarettes, which are by definition consumable and disposable, are here rendered perfectly inaccessible. Reduced by sculpture to a small geometric volume of an intense cobalt blue, they are fixed in the state of temptation, memory, or a simple object of company.
