PETIT BUSTE 2013

This small male bust, with its missing arms, legs, arm, and now even head, is a nod to ancient sculpture, of which we often only behold the fragmented silhouettes. But it is also the image of modern life, whose torments sometimes cause us to literally lose our heads. Yet, this work suggests the movement of a body that stirs despite everything.
