SIX VISAGES

“Six Faces” is a bas-relief created by Bruno Catalano that revisits a recurring motif in his work: Louis. The sculpture explores themes of appearance and disappearance by depicting faces that seem to emerge from the background. While the face is the same, the figures are not identical. This approach, based on reproduction and accumulation, is characteristic of the artist’s work. The work also draws on the history of funerary sculpture and questions of classical harmony in composition.
